Welcome to FitPay ("we," "our," or "us"). We are committed to protecting your privacy while helping you and your partner/friends achieve financial and physical health. This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, and share your information when you use our mobile application.

2. Information We Collect

2.1 Personal Account Information

We collect information you provide to create an account, such as:

• Name and Email Address.
• Profile photo (optional).
• "Circle" memberships (who you are connected with).

2.2 Health and Fitness Data

To function as a "Sweat Equity" tracker, FitPay integrates with Apple HealthKit and/or collects sensor data to verify your activity:

• Steps, distance, and calories burned.
• Workout duration and intensity.
• Heart rate data (used to calculate "Sweat Points").

2.3 Financial & Budget Data

To provide the transparency and budgeting features, we store data you manually input or configure:

• Budget Settings: Your monthly "Fun Money" limits and goals.
• Transaction Logs: Information you enter regarding purchases (e.g., store name, amount, date) to deduct from your earned budget.
• Notes/Memos: Any descriptions added to transactions.

2.4 Usage & Device Data

We collect non-personal information about your device (model, OS version) and crash logs to improve app stability.

3. How We Use Your Information

We use your data for the following specific purposes:

• To Calculate "Earned" Funds: We process your HealthKit/workout data to "unlock" portions of your pre-set budget based on your effort.
• To Facilitate Transparency: We display your "Earned" balance and "Spent" transactions to the specific users you have explicitly connected with (e.g., your spouse or partner in a Circle).
• To Manage Competitions: We use your activity data to calculate "Sweat Points" for leaderboards and "Winner Takes All" challenges within your Circles.
• To Provide AI Coaching: We process workout performance to allow our AI coach ("Tess") to provide feedback and motivation.

4. Data Sharing: User-to-User

This is a core feature of FitPay. By joining a "Circle" or connecting with a partner:

• You consent to share your Workout Progress (sweat points/earnings) with members of that Circle.
• You consent to share your Transaction Logs (spending history) with your connected partner/spouse for transparency purposes.
• You control these permissions within the app settings.

5. HealthKit Data Privacy (Apple Specific)

FitPay adheres to Apple’s strict HealthKit guidelines:

• We do not use HealthKit data for advertising or marketing purposes.
• We do not sell your health data to data brokers.
• We only use HealthKit data to visualize your progress and calculate your budget unlocks.

6. Third-Party Service Providers

We do not sell your personal data. We may share data with trusted infrastructure providers solely to operate the app:

• Cloud Hosting: We use secure cloud services (e.g., Base44) to store your account, budget, and challenge data.
• AI Processing: Anonymized workout data may be processed to generate coaching responses.

7. Data Retention

We retain your personal, financial, and health data only as long as your account is active. You may delete your account and all associated data at any time via the "Settings" menu in the app.

8. Children’s Privacy

FitPay is not intended for use by children under the age of 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children.

9. Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy to reflect changes in our features. We will notify you of significant changes by updating the "Last Updated" date at the top of this policy.
